Registered Nurse – Special Care Services (example job title)

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: (examples) Provide nursing care for clients needing special services.
 
Duties include: 

• Provide quality care to patients giving them 100% attention
• Be committed to putting patient’s needs first
• Administer medications
  
• Perform all nursing functions as assigned
• Have the ability to work independently with little supervision
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts and some weekends

 Education and Experience: (examples) 

• RN from accredited school
• 1 year experience in ICU
• Strong analytical and communication skills

 Physical Requirements: (examples)

• Approximately 95% of the time is spent standing or walking. The remaining 5% of thetime is spent sitting at a phone or computer.  
• Some bending and stretching may be required to reach a phone or to get a file.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

• The environment is air conditioned with fluorescent lighting.

• $31K per year - based upon experience
